What’s Been Happening
Rugby Tournament & Beef & Beer
On March 5, 2011 Patrick's Pals held a rugby tournament organized by Larry McManus and hosted by West Chester East Highschool in West Chester, PA. Many area teams particpated, including West Chester East boys and girls clubs, St. Joe's Prep, Cardinal O'Hara, Villanova and The University of Scranton. Parents and friends of the WCE Wolfpack supported the event by donating and selling food throughout the day. NBC10 even did a live broadcasat from the event on their morning news show!
Later that evening friends and family gathered at the Knights of Columbus in Springfield, PA for a Beef & Beer in support of Patrick's Pals. There were many great auction items including Phillies, Eagles and Sixers tickets, a Philadelphia Flyers jersey autographed by captain Mike Richards, gift baskets, and much more.
Many thanks to all who supported the events in any way. We hope to make it an annual event. Check out some pictures.
December 23, 2010: Presley D. Shalala Foundataion Fundraiser held in Stamford, CT. All of the proceeds from this event were donated to Patrick's Pals.
